Ispovijediti se možete prije svake svete mise.

Oni koji pristupaju sakramentu pokore primaju od Božjeg milosrđa oproštenje uvrede nanesene Bogu i ujedno se pomiruju sa Crkvom, koju su svojim grijehom ranili i koja radi za njihovo obraćenje s ljubavlju, primjerom i molitvom.

Po sakramentu pomirenja ili ispovijedi Bog preko svećenika oprašta sve učinjene grijehe koje iskreno ispovjedimo. Za ovaj sakrament imamo tri naziva: sakrament pomirenja – pomirujemo se s Bogom, s ljudima i sa samima sobom; sakrament ispovijedi – ispovijedamo i pred svećenikom, službenikom Crkve, Bogu priznajemo grijehe; sakrament pokore – izvršavamo pokoru za grijehe koje smo počinili. Da bi sakrament bio cjelovit i potpun trebaju biti uključena sva tri značenja sakramenta. Ispovijed je nenadomjestivo čišćenje duše i duhovnog mira po kojem se čovjeku opraštaju grijesi, a samim time biva ojačan u borbi protiv grijeha, daje mu duhovnu slobodu, jača vjeru, potiče na unutarnju promjenu i djela milosrđa.


Da bi se dobro i plodonosno ispovjedili potrebno je slijedeće:

– Ispitati savjest
– Iskreno se pokajati za grijehe
– čvrsto odlučiti da više nećemo griješiti
– iskreno ispovjediti sve grijehe
– izvršiti zadanu pokoru

Confessions can be done daily and Sundays before masses.

Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion.

Through the sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession, God, through the priest, forgives all sins we confess sincerely. We have three names for this sacrament: the sacrament of reconciliation – we are reconciled with God, with people and with ourselves; the sacrament of confession – we confess our sins before a priest, a minister of the Church; the sacrament of penance – we perform penance for the sins we have committed. For the sacrament to be complete, all three meanings of the sacrament must be included.
Confession is an irreplaceable purification of the soul and spiritual peace by which man’s sins are forgiven, and thus he is strengthened in the fight against sin, gives him spiritual freedom, strengthens faith, encourages inner change and acts of charity.

In order to confess well and fruitfully, the following is required:

– examine conscience
– sincerely repent of sins
– firmly decide that we will not sin again
– sincerely confess all sins
– perform the given penance
